No matter what you are looking for, it is always easier when you know you are among friendly ally's or LGBT family. We are still building our directory of LGBTQ friendly and owned businesses here in Beaufort County. We also wanted to link nearby and national services. Looking for something you do not see? Local Resources

The Rainbow Book

As a committee leading the LC Pride, better known as Lowcountry Pride, we have had many requests for a directory of local businesses we as a community should support. There is a strong desire within the community we serve for a listing of businesses with like minds for the progression we need in America today.

First City Pride Center

In 2017, the Savannah LGBT Center first opened its doors to welcome the community, bringing together a collection of service providers under one roof and providing a home LGBTQIA+ Savannahians had long struggled to find.

Ryan White Program

BJHCHS has received Ryan White funding since 1998 to serve People Living with HIV (PLWH) to provide access to affordable primary and specialty medical care and treatment, medical case management, HIV medications and non-HIV medications.

National Resources

The Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign envisions a world where every member of the LGBTQ+ family has the freedom to live their truth without fear, and with equality under the law. We empower our 3 million members and supporters to mobilize against attacks on the most marginalized people in our community.

National Center for  Transgender Equality

The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. In the nation’s capital and throughout the country, NCTE works to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.

The Trevor Project

Their mission is to end suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer
& questioning young people.
